Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I use a travel agent instead of booking on my own?
Although anyone can book for themselves online, travel agents are specialists in our craft and often have exclusive pricing and perks. The most important difference is that travel agents are there for you before, during, and after your trip to make sure everything goes smoothly. We have our own customer service lines and direct resort contacts, so if something goes wrong, we will be able to get it fixed for you much faster than you could on your own.
What can a travel agent book?
I personally specialize in all inclusives, destination weddings, and cruises throughout the Caribbean, however, I can book so much more! I have access to concert tickets, shows, excursions, hotels, flights, rental cars, theme parks, private tours, cruises, and airport transfers just to name a few. Anything you can book for yourself, I most likely have access to as well.
Do travel agents do payment plans?
Usually, YES, we do! It all depends on your booking and travel dates. Here's how it typically works… If a trip is more than 45 days away at the time of booking, a deposit amount is due. This price can vary depending on a variety of things like airlines, travel dates, number of travelers, etc. Then, 45-60 days before you take your trip the remaining balance is due. BUT, you CAN make payments along the way if you'd like. This can be a set amount each week/month, or you can pay $100 here, $50 there, etc. until it is paid in full. So, if you're ready for a vacation but don't want to pay in full now, you're in luck! Please keep in mind this is just an average example and payment due dates are subject to change.
Why do I have to provide a copy of my ID before a booking is made?
I have to make sure that the card information you provided to pay for your booking is ACTUALLY your card. I also need to make sure your name and birthday are entered exactly as they appear on your ID/passport, otherwise you will be subject to change fees and/or not be able to go on your trip. Autocorrect doesn't always send things how you want it to! I can't book a trip for an unknown person which is why I require copies of IDs for everyone who is traveling BEFORE booking. I also check all expiration dates to make sure you will not need to make time for a license or passport renewal prior to your trip - many countries require your passport to be valid up to 6 months after your trip. When you check in at a hotel or pick up a rental car, they ask for a copy of your ID to prove it is actually you on the reservation. The same concept goes for using my service!
Why do I have to pay a non-refundable fee before receiving quotes?
I am paid strictly on commission, which I do not actually receive until about 2 months after you return from your trip. This fee helps me cover my overhead costs between now and the time I receive the commission. It also helps me find clients who are serious about booking with me and value the service I provide. I am a professional, and I do not like to work for free.
Do you book Group Travel?
Yes, I book group travel all the time! We specialize in helping groups of all sizes plan their dream trips. From family reunions to corporate retreats, we can take care of all the details so you can relax and enjoy your time away.
